Having first performed in the great hall at the age of eight, Zsuzsanna Homor later received her diploma in piano performance from the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music (Budapest) in the year 2000. She then went on to complete her doctorate (DLA - Doctor Liberarium Artium) in 2008. Her proffesors were István Lantos and Balázs Szokolay. Zsuzsanna is currently a member of the Liszt Academy alumni.
Throughout her career, Zsuzsanna has successfuly participated in many national, and international competitions, courses and festivals. Of these, the most notable was winning 1st prize at the Andor Földes Piano Competition in 1998, winning the Bartók Prize in 1999 at the „Prag-Wien-Budapest” International Festival, and receiving the Annie Fischer Scholarship for performance in 2002-2003.
Zsuzsanna regularly performs in her native Hungary as well as abroad, both as a soloist and chamber-musician. In 2007 she participated in several concerts throughout Europe, and in 2009 she was invited to perform in the USA. Zsuzsanna is also highly sought after as an accompanist on courses and competitions worldwide.
Having a very wide repertoire of both solo and chamber music, Zsuzsanna is also very open to exploring and performing contemporary pieces. Zsuzsanna Homor released her first recording with Hungaroton Records in 2005.
