Imre DANI

Imre Dani graduated from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest in 2015, having studied under Balázs Szokolay and András Kemenes.

During his years of study, he achieved great success: in 2011, he received a Yamaha scholarship, and in 2014, he placed first in the 21st Johannes Brahms International Competition in Pörtschach. That same year, he and four fellow students formed the Weiner Ensemble, a chamber music group with an unusual instrumental lineup and a quirky choice of programs. In August 2016, they took the bronze medal at the Orlando International Chamber Music Competition.

He currently works at the Liszt Academy in Budapest as a piano accompanist.

In parallel, he performs chamber music concerts with several groups in a wide variety of instrumental lineups. He is also often invited to attend international festivals and competitions as a piano accompanist, such as the International Musicians Seminar in Prussia Cove, the Histria Music Competition in Pula, the Festival Academy Budapest, the Bartók World Competition, the Kodály International Competition, and the David Popper International Cello Competition.
