Translation:
Competitors may only apply to the age group corresponding to their date of birth. Those who have previously participated in or even won the Popper competition are also eligible to apply. The order of performances will be determined by a draw held at the opening ceremony, and this order will remain in effect throughout the competition.
The competition is public: it consists of ONE round in the first age group and TWO rounds in the second to fifth age groups. The competition program must be performed from memory. Once submitted, the competition program cannot be changed. When selecting repertoire, the specified time limits must be observed; otherwise, the jury has the right to listen to any part of the piece or to stop the performance at any time. Pieces must be played without repetitions.
The freely chosen piece cannot be a concerto movement (except in the first age group), a chamber sonata movement (e.g., Brahms, Beethoven, Schumann, etc.), or a compulsory Popper piece from any category.
The entire competition will be streamed live on the official website, Facebook page, and YouTube channel. Audio, video, and film recordings will be made during the competition, and the organizers have the right to use these recordings for promotional purposes without providing compensation to the participants.
The jury will evaluate the competitors using a scoring system. The scoring process is not public. The jury reserves the right to withhold certain prizes or modify the composition of the rankings.
After the first round, competitors who do not advance will have the opportunity to consult with the jury, supporting their further professional development.
The competition does not have a monetary prize. The results will be announced at the awards ceremony at the end of the competition, where the winners will perform at the gala concert.
